Top Penny Stocks List: January 10, 2022
There’s a lot of data about the first five trading days of a year. Last week we saw new all-time highs. But the S&P 500 also closed down roughly 1.8%. The reality is, you can’t predict what will happen. Take what the market gives.
These are the OTCs I’m watching this week…
And here are the listed stocks I’m watching…
3 Penny Stocks to Watch This Week
Top Penny Stocks List #1: Dogness (International) Corporation (NASDAQ: DOGZ)
Dogness (International) Corporation is a China-based pet products company.
Key points about DOGZ…
- On January 5, the company announced a “top pet goods retailer will be expanding availability” of its products.
- The stock chart looks like an old-school pump. It trended steadily up for three months, gaining 215% on low volume. Then it dumped 62% last Thursday.
- On Friday, DOGZ double-bottomed and bounced 80% before pulling back.
I didn’t pull the trigger on Friday when DOGZ double-bottomed. It didn’t have the max panic I was looking for. I’ll keep watching for potential dip buys into any big panic.
Top Penny Stocks List #2: One World Universe Inc. (OTCPK: OWUV)
One World Universe Inc. is a joke of a company that still has “Under Construction” on the front page of its website. But it’s in the metaverse, partnered with the NFL, and a press-release machine. So, you know…
Key points about OWUV…
- On January 6, the company signed a deal for a virtual project with celebrity artist Bad Bunny.
- Also on January 6, the company announced a partnership with the NFL to promote a movie project called “MVP.”
- On Friday, the company announced a subsidiary named Dysfunctional Rehabilitation Limited. It will bring delisted pink companies current and match them with reverse merger candidates. If only it could get its website looking good…
That said, the company is very good at hyping, so I’ll watch for any spiking with news and volume. Like this $552 win on a first green day play last Thursday. I’ll also watch for dip buys into any big morning panic.
Top Penny Stocks List #3: ILUS International (OTCPK: ILUS)
ILUS International (formerly Illustrato Pictures International Inc.) is a merger and acquisition company. The stock has been on and off my list since August.
Key points about ILUS…
- On December 27, the company completed the acquisition of Tennessee-based Bull Head Products Inc.
- ILUS double-topped in November and has trended down since. It’s trading 51% off the 52-week high of 51 cents a share.
- The stock has shown it can panic and bounce nicely. On Friday it bounced 16% in just over 30 minutes.
I traded ILUS on Friday, dip buying the big morning panic. It bounced fast so I locked in roughly 5% for a $495 win.
I’ll keep watching ILUS for potential dip buys into any big morning panic. The bigger the panic, the better.
Trading Mentor: The Truth About FUD
Crypto promoters love to use the acronym FUD. Now penny stock promoters are using it. Even company CEOs are using it.
What is FUD? Fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
Here are real examples from promoter tweets…
“If people want to paper hand some imaginary FUD, I have no problems obliging. My NFTs are multiplying.”
“Do you know this clown? He talking FUD on #SAITAMA all day and night.”
This one is actually from a company CEO…
“$AITX little bit of FUD out there…rumors/misinformation ‘Company selling shares at par value’ is outrageously wrong.”
Here’s the weird thing…
FUD Started as a Marketing Acronym
Some executive sitting in a boardroom at a big mahogany table circa 1974 asked the question…
“Why don’t more businesses buy our computers? Ours are better than the competition.”
The head of marketing answered…
“They’re hitting our prospects with fear, uncertainty, and doubt. They tell ‘em that our product sucks. And they make ‘em feel stupid for even considering us.”
Viola! FUD was born. (The actual tactic was born long before that. At least hundreds of years ago. Think of the age-old idiom “sowing the seeds of doubt.”)
So why does FUD matter to you?
Because it preys on human nature. We don’t like to be told we’re weak, boring, stupid, or have paper hands. The worst part is … a promoter saying you have FUD can create FOMO.
It’s not just penny stocks or #Bitcoin or any other #cryptocurrecy as unethical promoters on $TWTR have hyped plays like $RKT $NKLA $FUBO $CYN $DATS $CEI spouting BS: “never sell” & “only the weak exit” & “if you sell you’re a traitor” & that crushed far too many innocent newbies
— Timothy Sykes (@timothysykes) January 6, 2022
FOMO stimulates the greed glands. Greed drives people to do stupid things
Here’s my take…
FUD Is Your Friend
If you trade penny stocks, it’s the height of all stupidity NOT to have fear, uncertainty, and doubt. That goes for crypto and NFTs, too. 90% of traders lose.
I’m not against any Supernova or #cryptotrading but what I am against is unethical promoters advocating disgustingly irresponsible behavior. The hardest part of teaching during a bubble is newbies get rewarded for bad behavior, planting the seeds of their inevitable decimation
— Timothy Sykes (@timothysykes) January 6, 2022
If you trade scared, trading isn’t scary. 90% of traders lose.
When in doubt, get out. Again, 90% of traders lose.
Total certainty makes you look for anything to confirm your bagholder beliefs. It turns you into a degenerate gambler while ignoring what the price action is telling you. I’ll say it again: 90% of traders lose.
I pray for the souls of $CYN $TIVC $MRAI $STRN bagholders brainwashed by unethical promoters, it’s literally https://t.co/QTYT7tQ5da & https://t.co/KhqHFIvHsM all over again. I’ve warned many times 2022 is the year of retribution! Bigger props to all $DOGZ $ILUS $TGGI dip buyers
— Timothy Sykes (@timothysykes) January 7, 2022
Do you really want to get rich? It won’t happen by ignoring FUD. In speculative investments like penny stocks, crypto, and NFTs … FUD is your friend.

How to Create Your Own Penny Stocks List
Answers to watchlist FAQs…
How Can You Create Your Own Watchlist?
To start, look for big percent gainers. For two decades, big percent gains have been my #1 criteria. After that, I look at trading volume and a catalyst or reason behind the price action. Read “Stock Watchlist Guide: Tips & Examples to Develop Your Own” for details about the entire process.
Should I Create a Watchlist Every Day?
All serious traders create a daily watchlist. If you’re serious about trading penny stocks, making a daily watchlist is essential.
